Guess who's back (back back!)
Back a-gain (gain gain!)
~'s back (back back!)
Tell a friend (friend friend!)

I couldn't resist...wow, I had one fine Christmas, during which I received a bucketload of political books. Best among them was Godless by the magnificent Ann Coulter. All ignorant of her works are most unfortunate, as she does a better job defaming liberal ideas than any other contemporary writers (except the little-known Br. Andre Marie, Gary Potter, and the late Olivio de Correa). Her book especially attacks evolution- this time with unparalleled eloquence- and is even making my mother question her belief in Darwinism. If only all conservative pundits were so strong, honest, and smart as her, Al Franken would be unemployed.
To commemorate President Gerald R. Ford, whom I view as better than Clinton but worse than George H. W. [which isn't saying much], I'm wearing my WIN pin today. What can I say?> He's probrably in Hell now (sadly), but at least he was honest and had the right idea on inflation. Go figure.
Dear me, over vacation I wrote another poem for the dame that recieved my Sonnet XII. Because she has a boyfriend, I decided not to give it to her [so as not to be rude or in a bad spirit], but will post it anyway:

Sonnet XXX (Not of This)

Chaste, you transcend the eye, a pearl pure white
On patrician mourner's clothes, which are black
As a noon's eclipse. They cry, but they lack
True charity, which is your glean and light.
Dear, pleasant, you cry so much. You were born
Thus, and are beautiful. Your figure red
And soft, truculent, passionate, has led
Sad stares often, each even and mourn.
Your love and decision draw respect
Of waters dull by your merciful voice
Which waxes bright, is every hour choice
All the more, to your warming arms reflect,
And as much your hair, too fair, as a mop
Of Venus' work, to which thoughts else do drop.

Ironic, isn't it? I'm tempted to say pagan, but what else is fitting to a modern, non-Christian liberal?
